I just tried to go into my Facebook page and this shit is what I get.
As if they seriously think I am going to give them my real cell phone number. Now I do want to add that the idea of anyone actually putting their real cell phone number in Facebook or any website to me is not only absurd but down right stupid. So as a bit of a joke I did put in the number 867 5309 given that was a song back in the 80’s by Tommy Tutone.
When I did it I laughed and thought I wonder how many dumbasses will try and call it to see if they get me. Well apparently someone on Facebook tried to call it or text it or maybe charge it for some wacky shit.
I will simply make a new Facebook it is no big deal. There are some things in their terms of service that I do find just a bit strange.
I will begin with a massive contradiction in the Facebook Terms of Service. I wonder how many of you actually stopped to read this before you signed up. I’m betting not to damn many.
This is from 2 Sharing Your Content and Information
You own all of the content and information you post on Facebook
, and you can control how it is shared through your privacy and application settings.
Note: Here they claim You own All of the content and information You post to Facebook!
1. For content that is covered by intellectual property rights, like photos and videos (“IP content”), you specifically give us the following permission, subject to your privacy and application settings: you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any IP content that you post on or in connection with Facebook (“IP License”). This IP License ends when you delete your IP content or your account
unless your content has been shared with others, and they have not deleted it.
2. When you delete IP content, it is deleted in a manner similar to emptying the recycle bin on a computer. However, you understand that removed content may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time (but will not be available to others).
(Exactly how long is considered a Reasonable period of time? Nothing in this clearly states how long a Reasonable period of time is. I doubt they could be any more vague in how long it will remain after you delete the account. Considering they stated You own all of the content and information you post on Facebook. If You own it shouldn’t You be entitled to any Licenses or royalties, which would be due you as a result of the content you own?)
5. We always appreciate your feedback or other suggestions about Facebook, but you understand that we may use them without any obligation to compensate you for them (just as you have no obligation to offer them).
Notice here at number 5 they are adding the snotty (just as you have no obligation to offer them). So now suddenly when I post something I am offering it not You own all of the content and information you post on Facebook. I really wish these fuckers could make up their minds. You either own All of the Content You post or You do not!
Here is something that frankly I must laugh at.
Section 4 Registration and Account Security
Facebook users provide their real names and information
, and we need your help to keep it that way. Here are some commitments you make to us relating to registering and maintaining the security of your account:
This is really funny given I found 12 people with Facebook sucks backwards as their name. Here are two examples of that and one of Facebook sucks balls backwards.
1. Koobecaf Skcus
2. Skcus Koobecaf
3. Sllab Skcus Koobecaf
189 I P Freely
117 Amanda Hugnkiss
5 Ivana Tinkle
52 Hugh Jass
2 Oliver Clothesoff
5 Erua Snotball
54 Anita bath (Some have Anita Bath Badly)
144 Mike Rotch
3 Anita Goodlay
1 Al Cohiloc
1 Jacques Strap
But they claim Facebook users provide their real names and information. What crack pipe are they smoking?
1 You will not provide any false personal information on Facebook, or create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission.
2. You will not create more than one personal profile.
3. If we disable your account, you will not create another one without our permission. (This one is really stupid given if your account is disabled there is no god damn way to contact them to get permission! As if anyone actually would!)
4. You will not use your personal profile for your own commercial gain (such as selling your status update to an advertiser). Oh no you can’t have any commercial gain from your personal profile but Facebook can freely use all of what you put up for their Commercial Gain with no compensation to you! As stated in Section Two Number One.
Here is one that if you think this one is obeyed 100% I have a bridge to sell you in Egypt.
6. You will not use Facebook if you are a convicted sex offender. Oh yea those Convicted Sex offenders are totally honest people.
Then we have one that makes me go hmm are they spying for big brother.
7. You will keep your contact information accurate and up-to-date. Why the fuck would this matter unless they were interested in spying on you?
In closing I want to point out section 14 Termination
If you violate the letter or spirit of this Statement, or otherwise create risk or possible legal exposure for us, we can stop providing all or part of Facebook to you.
Since fucking when does a Terms of Service have a fucking Spirit? What now are we issuing Spirits to documents too? Wouldn’t that lower the value of Spirits?
And who would fucking decide if you violated the Spirit of this Statement? What would the Statement be found in the morning with a wet ass? Or be found battered and bruised behind a dumpster?
Then there is the Create risk or possible legal exposure for them. Hmm now this one has me wondering.
After all we all know my real name is Angel White. After allFacebook users provide their real names and information. Oh absolutely no one lies on the Internet. Naa we are all honest injun’s.
